So I'm having a pretty similar issue, except kinda reversed. The track plays fine in Ableton on studio monitors, PA monitors, and a pretty big system with subs and whatnot. However, when I play it in Traktor with the key lock on, it has all kinds of weird digital artifacts on the bass hits. It has similar artifacts on the bass in the previews on both Soundcloud and Bandcam, but the actual file is fine if you download it. So there's got to be something going on in the actual export phase that doesn't handle digital processing later on.
In the track, there is a main sawtooth bassline with a sub layered underneath it. These are hi and low passed respectively so they aren't conflicting. These are both done in Analog in Ableton. Later in the track there's some squishy filter sweep kinda bass that I recorded from my Nord Rack 2. So I exported the track minus the sub, and then again minus the saw bass. The only-sub version sounded clean and fine. But both the saw tooth bass from Analog and the filter bass from the Nord Rack had crazy digital distortion/artifacts in the sub-free version (with keylock on in Traktor).
This leads me to think that there's some kind of weird processing going on with the two problematic bass tracks. I switched all of the EQ Eight's in the whole project to Hi-Quality mode. I did the same with all the saturators.
When exporting, I freeze and flatten all the midi tracks into audio except the Drum Racks track and a buildup swoosh effect from Operator (they wouldn't bounce down because the drums were sidechaining the buildup).
So I don't know. I'm kinda lost at this point. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
